The Grow Local Colorado Campaign is supported by community leaders, gardeners, locavores, farmers and businesses to help promote local food, local community and local economy. This website is a resource hub for information, expertise and partnership in establishing your own food garden in your home, business, or public space.
Founded in early 2009, The Grow Local Colorado Campaign is a project of representatives from the Living Earth Center, Transition Denver, The Mile High Business Alliance and Denver Botanic Gardens.
The goals of the Campaign include:
- Identify the individuals, organizations and other resources who are participating in growing local food (take the pledge and register your own garden now!)
- Establish new gardens in our communities. A new garden is defined as any space (in a yard, on a patio or windowsill) where food is growing that wasn't growing before.
- Expand the Grow Local campaign to raise awareness of local food and to build more community
