Highlands/NW Denver Garden Space Offered April 21, 2011 4555 Beach Ct 80211 My front yard is about 20 x 30 ft on one side and 20 x 10 on the other side. I'd love to see it used as a garden plot. It's sunny....facing east with no shade. I'm not a gardener yet so I'm not sure how to describe it! RE: water, i'm not sure how CSA/NSA's work....I imagine we'd pay water unless it is way above our average. Thanks! Spinach, carrots, chard, and parsley are growing despite minus 18 degrees. You must be an experienced gardener, use organic and sustainable methods, and respect others. Beds must be planted completely by May 15th and kept weed free. No medical marijuana as we are family oriented. For safety, no children under 3 years old. Master Gardener who won a state-wide contest has about 1000 square feet of 3 1/2 feet wide, handicapped-accessible organic established raised beds that are dug and greatly improved 18" deep (12” down, 6” up). Easily and preferably dividable into 10 plots. Share half of what you produce with disabled senior. There MAY be fruit from trees and berries. I provide water, some seeds from last year and plants, tools, mini-hoop tunnels, fencing and posts, patio furniture, lots of bags of leaves for mulch, but no access to the house unless someone is interested in renting a room/sharing the house. Looking for Garden near DU February 28, 2011
Hi, I'm a DU gratudate student who moved to Denver last August. I would love to find a space to do some gardening. I enjoy organic foods and would love to cultivate some of my own. I currently live in an apartment building that does not allow any gardening so I'm out of luck. I would love to join up with someone who has space.
