The Barden is a 200 square foot urban garden in my Platt Park backyard. It produces primarily vegetables with a few flowers here and there. In addition, there is a plum tree and a newly planted raspberry bush. I also have 3 different varieties of hops growing in containers which will eventually be used in the homebrew that i make.

mixed Ridgway Community Garden completes its second year this autumn. Located in downtown Ridgway on land donated by local property owner Liza & John Ortman,the garden is open to all community members; children of all ages and folks with special needs.We are under a 501(c)3 umbrella, and all donations are tax deductible.
