GrowHaus Community Workday

Location

The GrowHaus is a new center for food justice and urban agriculture sprouting out of an old 20,000 square-foot greenhouse in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood. Consisting of an indoor farm, a local market and an educational center, the GrowHaus aims to be a catalyst for transforming the food desert of North Denver into an oasis of fresh, local, healthy food and community.
We're just getting started with this exciting project, and for the time being we're relying on community members like YOU to help us transform the existing space. Our next workday is Sunday, January 10th, when we'll be conducting a materials inventory, spreading mulch in the parking area, hanging plastic around the growing area, and preparing the front market space. We look forward to seeing you there!
