I am in the process of taking up the sod in my front yard and then put in a low water garden. I am interested in doing all I can to capture rain water and use the principles of permaculture. I am in the process of becoming a master composter through Denver Urban Gardens and hope to use this knowledge to create a neighborhood compost pile.
What is your favorite part about gardening?:
I am very interested in creating a low-water sustainable garden. I plan to capture and re-use rain water and to use plants that can grow in our semi-arid climate. I love the challenge of this. I am also taking a master composter class through Denver Urban Gardens and later hope to try their communty master gardener program.
