Dana Miller
Dana Miller is a lifelong activist and ardent supporter of all things artistic,
sustainable, and beautiful, Dana Miller is proud to serve as the
Director of Grow Local Colorado. Ms. Miller also initiated the bringing
of the world-wide Transition Movement to Denver,
co-creating Transition Denver with many others. She loves
community-building and networking in its many forms and is deeply in
love with her fellow adventurers in the local food and localization
movement. Dana shares with many others the vision of a Colorado where

Barbara Masoner
Barbara Masoner’s background is in environmental studies. Her first garden was a 4-H project in 5th grade. Her goal is to see as many vegetable gardens in Denver as there were Victory Gardens during WWII. She heads up volunteers for the Denver Parks demonstration edible gardens.

Celia Adamec
Celia Adamec is the Manager of Public Programs at Denver Botanic Gardens. She is also an avid gardener and "urban homesteader" with a busy kitchen garden, a chicken coop and dreams of adding goats, a solar greenhouse and more someday. She keeps chickens for eggs, entertainment, and to help with weeding and pest control in her garden.
Shannon Spurlock
Shannon Spurlock is
the Community Initiatives Coordinator at Denver Urban Gardens. As the
Community Initiatives Coordinator, Shannon works to build food security
through a web of garden-based health initiatives that target
schools, non-profit organizations, residences, and the community
at-large to promote healthy eating and active living. Additionally,
Shannon oversees and facilitates the Master Community Gardener program
and works with communities to establish and sustain new community
gardens.
Blake Angelo
Blake Angelo is a Colorado native who loves gardening, camping, and skiing. With his diverse background in evolutionary biology, community organizing and social entrepreneurship, Blake brings a unique set of skills to the Grow Local team. Blake joined the Grow Local team in 2010.
Kenzie Davison
Kenzie Davison is a permaculture teacher and a play facilitator for children with special needs. She volunteers with Grow Local Colorado, Transition Denver, The GrowHaus, and Denver Handmade Homemade Market. Kenzie designed Grow Local's website so please send any questions about the site her way.
