Barbara Masoner
Barbara Masoner has been concerned about environmental issues since exploring Colorado's mountains as a child. This led her to study environmental sciences in college. Her various careers have involved educating people of all ages about caring for our planet. For the past ten years she has been GLC's logistics and volunteer coordinator. Her goal is to see as many vegetable gardens in our community as there were Victory Gardens during WWII.

Linda Kiker
Linda began with us as a volunteer and now fills the role of co-director. Her previous work as a respiratory therapist and personal chef spanned 30 years. The move to retire from personal chef to gardener was motivated by her curiosity about growing food and the increasing concern over ongoing food waste amongst her clientele. Since finding GLC she’s fully stepped into a much larger and empowering food growing community. Finding ways to learn new skills in building healthy soil and developing a relationship with the environment that’s reciprocal has been life changing. Linda’s an enthusiastic garden leader who enjoys educating others on sustainable methods for growing their own food, is known to cook for her gardeners, saves seeds for the Denver Local Seed Project and leads fruit gleaning projects.

Holly Harper
Holly Harper started home gardening many years ago. Part of the inspiration came from converting a friend's backyard from a weed patch to an edible garden. After a few successful seasons she was able to find her own space to grow in at a community garden closer to home.
Every season she works to find more sustainable options for gardening and strives to share resources with others as much as possible. This led to her taking a deeper dive into seed saving, composting, growing perennial plants, seeking out varieties that do best in our area, and regenerative crops to feed the soil. Her goal is to leave every space she can be involved in a better place than it was before.
Being able to share healthy food and knowledge with others is an absolute joy.

Natasha Trout
Hi, I'm Natasha and I am proud to be part of the Grow Local Colorado crew! I am a Master Composter, a certified herbalist and work on a local mushroom farm. I am passionate about the regeneration of mismanaged land, making nutrient-dense food accessible to all, living a sustainable, less-wasteful lifestyle, and supporting small, local businesses and community.
Allyson Rogers
Allyson's mom instilled the importance of local farms in her while growing up in Georgia. Since then, Allyson has been passionate about local food and got to start her own garden in 2018. That blossomed into a large home garden for vegetable, fruit, and cut flower production, and in 2022 into a connection with Grow Local. As an engineer, Allyson loves structure and planning, and the garden provides opportunities for that as well as the necessary counterbalance of letting nature be in charge. Allyson also likes to promote sustainability and reducing waste and enjoys connecting with new and different people while working with GLC.
Emmy Radin
Emmy is a passionate intern for the 2024 growing season who is so excited to join the Grow Local Team! She is graduating from DU with a bachelor's degree in Geography, Spanish, and Public Policy. She is motivated to get involved with grassroots efforts in the Denver area. She has worked on community and family-led farms for the last couple of summers, learning about organic agriculture. She believes strongly in community-engaged food cultivation and working to combat food insecurity. She also loves to be outside, go birding, and pickle vegetables!
