Share Your Harvest

Hunger is a serious issue in Colorado. Many of us grow healthy, beautiful produce in our backyards, and in school and community gardens.
Grow Local Colorado encourages gardeners to donate their fresh produce to food pantries and hunger-relief organizations in neighborhoods across Colorado.
Call the Hunger Free Hotline at 855-855-4626. They will provide you with location and contact information for the pantry closest to you, no matter where you are in our fair state. Another option is go to AmpleHarvest.org.

Fruit Trees
Does your fruit tree (or trees) provide more fruit than you can use? Tired of picking up rotten fruit from your yard? If so, we have a wonderful solution. Volunteers from Grow Local Colorado will pick your excess fruit, share some with you, and share the rest with Coloradans in need of healthy food.
One satisfied tree owner said, "We loved having Grow Local Colorado come to our home to harvest apples from our trees! A seamless way to support others in our community and avoid waste." Contact us at GrowLocalColorado@gmail.com |
